Apparently, The Hangover 3 is legitimately a thing. Gross.
In his interview with Rolling Stone, Zach Galifianakis laments (at least that’s the tone I’m getting from the text) that another Hangover is indeed in the works, saying “I’m already getting fricking phone calls.” (Side note: how adorable is it that he still uses the word “fricking?”) Alright, so the fact that another Hangover movie is coming — after we all witnessed the insulting redundancy of The Hangover Part II — is extremely aggravating, but Zachie G’s got some good(ish) news too.
The plot is going to be totally different, you guys. And it has nothing to do with being hungover! Galifianakis says the next movie would focus on his character as the Wolfpack struggles to help him escape a mental institution. At least no one is getting married or going out to crazy bachelor parties, but still, do we really need three Hangover movies?! Do we really? Couldn’t they have just used this much better idea for The Hangover Part II?
Well, I guess what’s done is done. The Hangover 3 is probably coming and I guess we’d all better brace ourselves and hope for the best.
