Got Brow? Benefit Says Yes

No matter how much you fight it, bold brows are in. Nailing this trend, however, can be a bit more difficult than it looks. As someone who has filled in her eyebrows for years, I still find myself making frightening mishaps. Just this morning I got a tad heavy-handed with my pencil and found myself resembling Bert from Sesame Street instead of Brooke Shields for Vogue circa 1980. I spent 15 minutes scrubbing off my brows and missed my train into work— because when it rains it really does pour.

We’re going for Brooke Shields, not Bert from Sesame Street.

As if some higher power knew of my struggles (or Lady Luck was finally on my side), I was presented with Benefit’s Gimme Brow brow gel when I walked into the office. I’ve never ventured into brow gel territory (I’ve always been a pencil gal) because I was always nervous I wouldn’t have any control. After the morning I had and a bit of research, though, I was fully onboard the Gimme Brow Express.

Brow mishaps with the tweezer? This will fix it. Promise.

Made to be water resistant and outlast a pencil, the fiber gel adheres to the skin and hair for a natural finish. Because the brush is small and tapered you will have great precision during application and the buildable formula will save us all from caterpillar brows. Really, this was the answer to all of my problems. I think my morning of unfortunate events happened for a reason— I was meant to change my old habits so I could finally get the Brooke Shields brows of my dreams. Hey, a girl has to justify a new obsession in some way.
