Best Beauty Looks at the SAG Awards

Amy Adams paired Old Hollywood hair and makeup with a retro-futuristic dress. Very Rachael-approved (now that's the Rachael from Blade Runner, not the one from Friends) – and the coral lipstick plays beautifully with the cobalt of the dress.

Mindy Kaling

I've been kind of obsessed with The Mindy Project lately, and one of my takeaways? Mindy Kaling really brings it in the beauty department (in addition to the everything else department, of course). Her skin looks radiant, and she's paired a perfectly-deployed smoky eye with a just-right brick red lip. All she's missing now are the nominations. (Seriously, where are they?)

Claire Danes

Some are calling this look too severe, but I love the drama of it. I think navy eyeshadow might just be experiencing a renaissance, and I love the way it plays with her dress. Plus, her hair is off the charts: the new color is lovely on her, and it's sporting some serious Victoria's Secret-level volume.

Lupita Nyong'o

Claire Danes wasn't the only one to match eyeshadow and dress – Lupita Nyong'o did it even better. Who'd have thought turquoise metallic eyeshadow could be the epitome of class? Lupita definitely had the most interesting look of the evening, and the risk paid off: she looked amazing. And the craziest part is, I know she's going to look even better at the Oscars. How is that even possible?

Elisabeth Moss

Peggy Olson could sure take a leaf out of Ms. Moss' book, right? The red lip is pitch-perfect for her skin tone, and while I'm not usually a huge fan of dress/lip matching, it looks nice here. Oh, and her false lashes (at least I think they're fake) are natural enough, yet give her features some extra oomph.
6
Emilia Clarke

Emilia Clarke kept it minimal and let her (amazing) brows do the talking. Her ultra-sidepart is a little jarring, but her glowy eyeshadow and perfect pink lipstick more than make up for it.

Kerry Washington

Her dress game might have been off (ill-fitting custom Prada? No thank you), but her beauty game was off-the-charts. Her pregnant glowiness was the talk of the town, so her look might not exactly be replicatable unless you have a bun in the oven.

Jennifer Lawrence

She is working that pixie 'do. Her smoky eye is youthful and flattering, and her blush showed off her enviably amazing cheekbones. Plus, the pretty pink lipcolor lets her besequined dress do all the talking. (P.S. That dress is the best Dior she's worn in months).

Michelle Dockery

That shade of red is perfect for her porcelain complexion, and it's the best possible complement to her tuxedo-inspired gown. There's just something simple about a red lip, isn't there? Nothing looks better with black and white. Oh, and let's not overlook the gold eye makeup - subtle but gorgeous (though Lenny Kravitz wears that look best). Here's to more gold eyeliners and eyeshadows on the red carpet!

Natalie Dormer

I'm not usually a huge fan of undercuts, but I'm loving this one on Natalie Dormer. Apparently, she made the chop to portray Cressida in the upcoming Mockingjay film. I love the way she uses the undercut to show off her intricate ear cuff (surely they're the next big thing, right?), and the simple eyeshadow, nude lipcolor, and amazing dress all pull it together to create a tantalizingly futuristic look.
