Dua Lipa keen to start her own fashion brand

Dua Lipa is keen to start her own “fun” fashion brand in the future.

The Don’t Start Now singer opened up to British Vogue magazine about her hopes and dreams, and revealed she’d love to use her interest in all things style to launch her own line as a designer.

“I’d love to do something fun in terms of fashion,” she told the publication. “At the moment, my focus is music, but I want to be able to branch out and do something else. I would love to start a brand at some point, even if I start off really small. I have to take it in baby steps.”

Dua also spoke to the magazine about how she’s dealt with haters during her career after her dance moves sparked a widely-circulated meme last year (2020).

Admitting she didn’t realize that she had so many critics until her star started to rise, the New Rules singer added: “I would get anxiety. And I was like, ‘This shouldn’t be the way that I’m experiencing this once-in-a-lifetime experience.’ It was messing with my confidence. I’d be super-nervous, wondering what everyone’s gonna say.”

Now Dua’s management team run her Twitter page, helping to alleviate some of that anxiety.
