Fall sartorial trends typically don’t edge on feminine: between massive army jackets, tomboy-inspired Chelsea boots, and the Great Oxblood Armageddon, any remnants of girly-ness washed away with the last of our late August tans. This season, however, we’ve spotted everyone from Chiara Ferragni to Miroslava Duma wearing a print typically reserved for spring: florals.
The trick to wearing florals once the temperature drops is to keep the palette moody — think rich scarlet and navy hues against black and emerald greens. The textures are switching up as well, going from lightweight silks and linens to rich tapestries and even suede. We’ve even tracked down a puffer vest that will keep us both fresh and warm.
Take a peek at some of our picks below, and get pumped: looks like you don’t have to wait for spring to rock a great floral.
