When news hit that H&M was teaming up with Isabel Marant for the next capsule collection, fashionista’s all over the world nearly choked on their latte’s. Instagram blew up with images of the Parisian designer wearing her signature casual-yet-so-effortlessly-cool uniform, the very uniform that will soon be available to everyone at a fraction of the actual price.
The collection boasts skinny ankle-grazing pants and fringe galore.
This isn’t the first time our favorite high street store is bringing designer goods to the masses (does anyone remember the great Marni debaucle?), but it is the first time they’re teaming up with an independent designer (that’s right—Marant still calls all her own shots).
Marant said instead of creating all new designs, she’s just choosing favorites from her collections over the years to reproduce. That news alone was enough to send us over the edge and seeing photos of the actual collection was even more reason to get our tents ready to camp out in front of our nearest H&M on November 14 (thank god there’s one next door to the BtR offices).
We’re looking forward to the signature Marant designs and prints.
