When you make $18 million a year from your modeling career, you would think it might be time to take a vacation (or permanently retire to Bora Bora). Well, not when you’re Kate Moss— the girl does not stop. Just over a week after announcing her return as a collaborator for Topshop, it was announced that the supermodel has joined British Vogue as a contributing fashion editor. Now, before we start crying over the endless possibilities, this doesn’t mean that we’ll be soon be reading Kate Moss Magazine.
Let’s hope this isn’t a repeat of Derek Blasberg
Contributing fashion editor could mean anything from working with the models and styling photo shoots to just a credit in the magazine à la Derek Blasberg. Basically, we’re not exactly sure if this position holds any weight or is just a title Vogue UK gave her since she appears on the cover about once annually.
Considering Moss is our walking, breathing idol, we can’t help but pray we’ll be seeing more of her influence throughout the mag on a monthly basis. If not, a little bit of Kate Moss is always a good thing— even if it’s just adding her name to the masthead every month.
