
Kylie Jenner‘s lip kits have sold out almost instantly since the product launched which isn’t surprising due to the fact that Kylie Jenner’s lips have pretty much taken over the Internet. Who wouldn’t want lips like that?
Despite their popularity, Jenner’s line of glosses and matte lippies have way, way more customer complaints than the company has let on. According to Perez Hilton, the company has 137 customer complaints logged with the Better Business Bureau in the nine months it’s been around. For someone to log a complaint with the Bureau, it has to be pretty serious. We deserve better, Kylie! You deserve better!
Every young company goes through a few road bumps, and we’re hoping Kylie (or whatever company she slapped her name on and has almost nothing to do with) is getting her stuff together.
Here are the seven biggest problems the company has encountered:
1. Leaking of personal customer information — oops.
2. Frayed and/or cheap, broken and messed up makeup wands.
3. Branded packaging that was so recognizable lip kit deliveries were being stolen (though that does prove the company is pretty good at marketing).
4. Packages arrived without pencils.
5. Lip gloss tubes were mostly empty even though they were brand new.
6. Glosses were not opaque like advertised and seemed cheap and patchy.
7. Customers were ignored by customer service.
Everywhere you turn on the Internet, you’ll see a negative review of Kylie’s kits, but the kits are still selling out. So, could they really be that bad? We just hope she gets her stuff together because we want to like the lip kits so badly!
