Apply a light apricot shimmer eye shadow all over the lid to even out the skin tone. Using black mascara, wiggle the wand at the base of the eyes and then to the tip of the lashes. This will give a thick and voluminous effect to the lashes as well as open the eyes.

Ensure that you conceal any blemishes or under eye circles with concealer and apply a light foundation if needed.

For the lips, start with an orange-red lip liner, sketch around the outside edges of the lips. This will be the frame for the ombré.

Using a lip brush apply a dark, eggplant colored lipstick to the center of the lip. “By putting the darker color in the center of the lip it looks like the heat is in the center,” says Rebecca. “It’s as if you’ve been kissed, rather than the lipstick looking like it’s faded.”

To blend the colors together seamlessly, paint on a fire engine red over the tomato-red liner. Continue to smudge the colors together with a lip brush until you get the desired ombré effect.

Finish the lip off with a clear gloss to the center of the mouth to make the lips appear plumper and more polished.
