American Horror Story: Coven still won’t debut on FX for over a month but it’s already terrifying us. The third cycle of the Ryan Murphy series will toggle between the present-day and the 1830s, focusing on a coven of witches who went underground after the Salem Witch Trials and instruct their young how to defend themselves from the non-magical humans bent on their destruction. It’ll star Jessica Lange, Kathy Bates, Gabourey Sidibe, Angela Bassett, Patti Lupone, Emma Roberts, and Christine Ebersole. Judging from this new poster of three woment swallowing snakes, it’ll be beyond scary. Check it out…if only by peeking through your fingers.
