‘American Horror Story: My Roanoke Nightmare’: New Trailer Answers Big Questions After Premiere

American Horror Story premiered last night, and while fans eagerly awaited a theme, they were greeted with a documentary-style story and no opening credits.

Are you kidding AHS?! They’ve been teasing us about a theme for weeks, and the first episode still didn’t definitively reveal itself. While fans speculated that the documentary style of the first episode would lend itself to multiple themes across every episodes, the new trailer kind of set it in stone.

American Horror Story: My Roanoke Nightmare (which, by the way, we totally called) will be continuing in next week’s episode. Following the West Coast airing of Chapter One, where Sarah Paulson and Cuba Gooding Jr. play reenactors encountering nightmarish horrors like human sacrifice and teeth rain, a trailer was released showing the theme continuing on in subsequent weeks.

It’s kind of crazy how even TV Guide leaked the wrong information. Is ‘The Mist’ going to play in at all or did Ryan Murphy just leak false information on purpose?

Checkout the trailer above.
