After last night’s pretty successful 80’s Night, the dancers and the celebrities were eager to make it through into next week’s round, where the pairs will perform routines to songs from hit Broadway musicals. But one couple had to be sent home before then, and the three celebrities up for elimination after were David Arquette, Hope Solo, and Carson Kressley. At the last minute David was saved from elimination, and then it was announced that Carson received the least amount of votes and was therefore sent home. Before leaving, he told Brooke Burke how thankful he was that Anna was his partner and he explained how the whole experience of being on the show brought him such joy. Tom Bergeron pointed out it seemed unfair he was going home the week before the Broadway tribute episode, and Carson replied that it didn’t matter because he was going to be in the audience for the rest of the season to cheer on his cast mates.
