It’s now time for me to flex my writing muscles. I have to bring to you around 200 words of pure entertaining news about the television business several times a day and today I only have a two sentence paragraphs with 41 words to turn into pure gold. Can I do it? Do I have the ability?
For those without basic math skills, I have to basically increase the story five times to meet my requirements. For every single word, I need five. For every sentence, I need five more. Five! If I could increase profits by five times, I would be a billionaire! At least, I’m pretty sure that’s how profits work. But alas, I am but a writer, whose sole job is to convey to you the message in a manner that is both informative and entertaining, so I accept this challenge with the humblest of confirmations (and yes, I used a thesaurus for that one. Sometimes mathematicians use a calculator, you know?).
Anyway, CBS bought a medical drama from Denis Leary that focuses on a group of three doctors who went to medical school together and reunite years later to teach at the university’s hospital.
Did I make it? 199 words? Crap! So close! But did I also use a cheap ploy to pad out the rest of this article and take up like 90% of the article? Yes, yes I did. And I regret nothing.
