Okay, so Fox just landed a new TV show that’s currently untitled. But get this. The original name for the script? Chicks and Dicks. Man, how awesome is that?
Anyway, now it’s called Untitled Liz Meriwether Project (booooorrring!) and is being described as a “reverse Three’s Company” (whatever that means), written by Meriwether. Plot details are slim, but we do know it will follow an optimistic Midwestern woman who moves to New York City into an apartment with three immature dudes. Executive producers include Meriwether, Peter Chernin, and Katherine Pope.
So, it sounds like Chicks and Dicks was a pretty appropriate title. And seriously, if there can be a show on TV called $#*! My Dad Says, why can’t there be a Chicks and Dicks? Seems a bit silly, but whatever.
On a side note, Chicks and Dicks wasn’t the first script of Meriweather’s with a provocative title. Sounds like all the woman does is write scripts, title them inappropriately, and sell them. Seriously. Previously, she sold a TV pilot called Sluts, developed a feature called Honey Pot, and wrote the romantic comedy Friends with Benefits — formerly titled F*ckbuddies. I think I’m going to move to Hollywood, write something, and title it Boobs and Balls. Suddenly, BAM. I’m rich, bitch!
