The second season premiere of Gabrielle Union and Jessica Alba’s police drama L.A.’s Finest has been shelved amid the ongoing Black Lives Matter protests still sweeping through America.

Three new episodes were scheduled to debut on Spectrum’s On Demand service on Monday (June 8, 2020), but they have now been delayed and pushed to a later date in 2020, according to TV Line.

The news comes after AMC bosses pulled the plug on this past weekend’s episodes of Live PD, and Paramount Network executives’ decision to shelve its police series Cops, amid the ongoing protests, which began almost two weeks ago following the death of George Floyd at the hands of Minnesota cops.

In L.A.’s Finest, Union and Alba play no-nonsense LAPD detectives who often defy policing regulations to take down the bad guys.
