A teaser in the greatest sense of the word, this preview for the second season of Game of Thrones doesn’t offer much to the fans who haven’t read the book. But for those of us who have, the little flicker of green flames says a whole lot.
Again, for those who haven’t read the books – you really should. Sure it does get long winded talking about all the great houses, what everyone is wearing and what they’re eating, but you will not find a better political drama anywhere. Combine that with just a touch of magic and you have one of the best fantasy series ever written. Now I’m just curious if they’ll truly bring on the green flames. Either way, it’s going to be great.
Also – “Play Resumes?” Really? That’s what we’re going for? I know the series as a whole is called “A Song of Fire and Ice” and Game of Thrones seemingly describes the series better but still, Play Resumes? That’s just silly.
