Gilmore Girls is having a total moment. Ever since the series announced it was returning with Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life, we’ve been going Gilmore crazy. We’re not the only ones! Ample Hills Creamery has created a Gilmore Girls ice cream flavor!
The Brooklyn-based creamery dubbed the Gilmore-themed flavor “They Scoop Gilmores, Don’t They?” It’s a play on the episode “They Shoot Gilmores, Don’t They?” where Rory broke up with Dean (tears. I remember so many tears!). The flavor was picked after the creamery received over 2,500 entries. To come up with all this deliciousness, Ample Hills combined three entries into one amazing flavor.
If your a fan of coffee like your Gilmore Girls sister, than you’re gonna love this ice cream. It’s a coffee, chocolate pudding flavored ice cream with pink Pop Tart sprinkles. Amazing! The chocolate pudding is a reference to Emily’s Friday night dessert, and the coffee is…well, that’s the very essence of Gilmore Girls right there.
The ice cream is available at all of Ample Hills’ NYC locations, but you can also get a four pack of individual pints shipped directly to you on their website. It sounds like we have a new ice cream to eat straight out of the carton while we binge watch Netflix!
