Here’s Everything That’s Leaving Netflix In July

With July on the horizon, we’re dreaming of long hot summer nights, happy hours and beach days. Most importantly, Star Trek fans are gearing up for the highly anticipated release of Star Trek Beyond. It’s too bad that Netflix is snatching away some of the best of the Trekkie franchise. From Stark Trek to Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby, here is everything that is leaving Netflix in July 2016.

Star Trek: The Motion Picture (Leaving July 1)
The 1979 classic original motion picture that called on Captain Kirk and his Starship Enterprise crew to contain the alien cloud that crashed to earth, is going to be cruelly ripped from our Netflix watchlists. If that's not bad enough, Netflix will also be removing, Star Trek II: the Wrath of Khan
Star Trek III, Star Trek IV, Star Trek V: the Final Frontier, Star Trek VI: the Undiscovered Country, and Star Trek: Generations What a sad day for Trekkies.

Netflix Alternatives: Fantastic Four & Armageddon
Notting Hill (Leaving July 1)

Julia Roberts and Hugh Grant star in the classic rom-com Notting Hill. The perfectly clever romance follows William (Grant), a London bookstore owner who finds himself in a full-blown affair with American actress, Anna Scott (Roberts). Do two completely different people living totally different lives have a chance at love? Find out before July 1st!

Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby (Leaving July 1)
Will Ferrell stars as obnoxious NASCAR diver Ricky Bobby, who is at the top of his game until French Formula One champion Jean Girard (Sacha Baron Cohen) comes racing through the scene, sending Ricky into the depths of the despair! Will Ricky be able to turn it back around? Check out Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby before it's gone July 1st.

Thumbelina (Leaving July 1)

Disney isn't the only studio that can slay at animated features. Warner Bros's 1994 classic tells the tale of a lonely old woman who sprouts and raises a tony girl the size of her thumb, Thumbelina. Although, the pint-sized girl loves her mother, she craves companionship with someone her own size. Will she find it? Check out the flick before it's gone from Netflix July 1st.

A Clockwork Orange (Leaving July 1)

This terrifying 1971 science-fiction horror film is set in future London and follows Alex and his "Droogs" as they get high and embark on "ultraviolence" while singing "Singing in the Rain". After Alex finds himself arrested and reconditioned to despise violence, he becomes victim to the very same crimes he used to indulge in. Take a look A Clockwork Orange before it's gone for good.
