Howard Stern is in “serious” negotiations with NBC to become a judge on America’s Got Talent. He’d be replacing Piers Morgan, who announced his departure from the show this week.
If the deal is finalized, Stern would be making roughly $15 million, and Talent would reportedly consider a move from L.A. to New York, where Stern operates his weekday radio show for Sirius XM.
The self-proclaimed King of All Media would continue to host his eponymous satellite radio show, for which he is contractually obligated, even if he lands the Talent gig.
