‘Idol’ Contestants’ Song Choices Leaked

American Idol Top 13 Season 10Because American Idol insists on being different this year, they’re changing it up yet again, delivering us a pre-taped show for tonight’s round of the competition. Maybe they’re afraid Stephen Tyler will be a little too loose, so they’re limiting his ability to bypass the sensors on live television. Whatever the reason, we won’t be getting purely unedited antics this evening. The good thing about all this is that since the performances have already happened, folks who attended the taping are kind enough to share their knowledge about who’ll be singing what for this round, dubbed “Your Personal Idol” week. From the looks of this list, this round will be the perfect chance to see exactly what these folks are aiming to deliver, but to be honest it just seems like a slightly more specific version of the “Pick Your Favorite Song” idea from last week. The picks are pretty predictable, playing off their strengths or adhering to the judges’ advice; all except for Naima who sings “Umbrella” by Rihanna. She seems to by trying to capture the more mainstream demographic, but that could be dangerous for her.

Here’s what you can look forward to hearing (or dread hearing, depending on your stance) on this evening’s NOT live episode of Idol.
