In a recent episode of Watch What Happens Live, MiMi dodges questions about her ex-fiance James Packer and new man Bryan Tanaka, but did comment on some controversy with Demi Lovato.
Last summer, Demi threw some shade at Mariah over her famous claim that she “doesn’t know” Jennifer Lopez, even though they’ve met several times. What was Mariah’s response? “I don’t know [Demi] either.”
“I don’t know her either and so I wouldn’t say anything to her,” she said. “She should come up, introduce herself to me, say, ‘Here’s my opinion, what do you think about it?’ That’s how you handle sh*t, OK?”
Wow, those are some shots fired. Speaking of shots fired, Mariah claimed that she doesn’t know Ariana Grande either, despite the fact that Ariana is continuously compared to the singer in the media and they shared a stage in NBC’s 2013 tree-lighting special.
“No. I don’t know…” she said of Ariana. “Honestly, I’m not familiar. I listen to hip-hop more than I listen to pop music.”
