Because her all-Oprah network, OWN, isn’t doing so hot, the queen of daytime television advice and touching true stories, Oprah Winfrey, will be ending her long-lived show months before it’s supposed to shut down. Winfrey announced last year that her show would bid fans adieu on September 9, 2011 but now it appears that Oprah will take its final breath months earlier on May 25 to mark the end of its 25th season — well, isn’t that special. I’m sure fans won’t be too happy to know that their favorite daytime ritual will be cut short in a few short weeks, but it’s all in the name of 24 hours hours of Oprah-tastic programming over on OWN so simmer down now, ladies.
