And now the story of a dedicated fan base who lost everything, and then got everything back thanks to Netflix, but still had no choice but to make a whole bunch of artwork celebrating their favorite show because, really, what would be a better way to spend your time?
It’s Arrested Development.
There are a lot of detriments that come with being a “cult” show. The biggest of them is that you will most likely be canceled before your time is due — the sad state of affairs is that, as far as the networks are concerned, not enough people love you. But the people who love you… man do they love you. Arrested Development is one of these shows, as evident by the nearly decade-long push by fans to get Mitch Hurwitz’s ingenious comedy back on the air. Now that these efforts have proven successful, fans can stop grieving over therapy-mandated finger painting projects and can actually put their artistic talents to good use: fan art.
Here are a few pieces of recently published fan art celebrating Arrested Development and all of its characters… mostly Tobias. Click through the pages to see some creative means of expressing Bluthful love.
