Terry Crews Details Alleged Sexual Assault by Hollywood Agent Adam Venit

Terry Crews has opened up on being “groped” at a party last year (16) Hollywood agent Adam Venit in a new interview.

The Expendables actor took to Twitter last month (Oct17) to claim he had suffered a sexual assault himself in light of the women coming forward to accuse producer Harvey Weinstein of harassment, and even rape in several cases.

On Wednesday’s (15Nov17) Good Morning America, Crews explained the whole ordeal was giving him post-traumatic stress disorder as he had had his privates “groped” by a “high level Hollywood executive” at an event last year and during the interview he went into more detail about the incident.

“Back in February 2016 I was assaulted by Adam Vinet, who is the head of the motion picture department at William Morris Endeavor (WME), one of the biggest agencies in the world,” he recalled, naming Adam Sandler, who is represented by Vinet, as another guest at the party.

“He’s connected to probably everyone I know in the business. This is the thing – I did not know this man. I have never had a conversation with him, ever. I knew of him… The first time I ever had an interaction with him was at this event.”

Crews alleges Vinet began staring at him and sticking out his tongue, making “overtly sexual kind of tongue moves”. The actions were so bizarre that the 49-year-old questioned whether the businessman was joking, until Venit approached him.

“I stick my hand out and he literally takes his hand and puts it, squeezes my genitals,” Crews alleges, recalling how he “jumped back” in shock.

To make matters worse the gesture happened more than once, with the actor claiming the married father of four wouldn’t stop, causing Crews to became forceful and push him back, at which point he apparently bumped into other guests before “giggling and laughing”.

“I have never felt more emasculated, more objectified. I was horrified,” the Brooklyn Nine-Nine star continued, noting he approached Sandler, who was also reportedly confused by his agent’s actions.

But Crews insisted he wouldn’t be left feeling “shamed” by the incident and that he’ll encourage his kids, whom he shares with wife Rebecca King-Crews – also present at the time, to be vocal if someone touches them inappropriately.

Venit reportedly went on leave after Crews first made the allegations and the actor has since filed an official report with the Los Angeles Police department alleging sexual harassment, officials previously confirmed.
