Raise your hand if you think the trailer for A&E’s show, Hasselhoffs, is offensive. I would say you could put your heads down and raise your hand so it would be anonymous, but then you wouldn’t be able to see the video. But you’re not electing the captain of your swim team, so suck it up.
Did you raise your hand? Really? I don’t see any obscene content, other than the fact someone else’s hair was taped to this poor kid. Especially when we’re living in a day and age where you can get bedbugs from comforting your friend after a breakup or head lice from just walking past your neighborhood school on the way to work, it seems like a disgusting idea. Also, “Some people are born awesome?” Like who? Like this kid? He’s just awesome because he probably ran over some crab airholes in the sand while they were filming this and didn’t freak out about it. But was David Hasselhoff born awesome? I don’t think of him that way. I think of him as two things: 1, the best hamburger spokesman ever, and 2, the Lenny Small to Dick Clark‘s George Milton. He’s not really offensive, but rather just innocent and unable to rent a car.
