This 16-year-old Cancer Survivor Gets Simon Cowell To Tap Golden Buzzer On ‘America’s Got Talent’

Don’t watch this if you don’t want to tear up. 16-year-old Calysa Bevier not only had the type of inspirational story that makes us completely well up, but she even got Simon Cowell to crack a smile.

Bevier is a survivor of stage 3 ovarian cancer and took the stage of America’s Got Talent to perform an emotional rendition of Rachel Platten’s “Fight Song.” Seriously, it’s impossible not to cry when you’re watching this performance. There could not have been a better song choice.

Simon Cowell was obviously impressed. He said:

“I’ve got this incredible feeling about you, I think everyone in this room felt it, you were nervous I could feel that. I predict great things are gonna happen for you. There’s something about you.”

Bevier’s amazing performance also led the grumpy judge to press his once-per-season golden buzzer. Cowell is the last judge to press his buzzer this season, and currently, Nick Cannon (who gets a buzzer for the first time this year) is the only one with his pick left.

What do you think of Bevier’s performance?
