This Video Perfectly Maps Out Every Single Clue About Jon Snow’s Parentage On ‘Game Of Thrones’

**SPOILERS, OBVIOUSLY**

We’re still recovering from all of the insanity that occurred during the sixth season of Game of Thrones. From the Battle of the Bastards to Cersei’s revenge, we feel like GoT‘s showrunners and HBO were diabolical AF this season. Still, one of the biggest WTF moments was unraveling the mystery surrounding Jon Snow’s parentage. We have long suspected that Jon Snow was actually not Ned Stark’s son, but instead he is the son of Ned’s sister Lyanna and the Mad King’s son Rhaegar Targaryen. GoT fans know this theory as, R+L=J.

Though Jon still doesn’t know the truth behind his parentage yet, his younger brother, Bran Stark does. Upon becoming the Three Eyed Raven, Bran was able to travel back in time to see his father Ned at the Tower of Joy where Lyanna was being held. Once in the Tower, we see that Lyanna has just given birth and is near death’s door. We also witness her handing Ned her baby and whispering a promise of some sort in his ear. Though we couldn’t quite make out what Lyanna was saying, there have been other clues over the course of Game of Thrones’ six seasons that pretty much confirm R+L=J.
