Usually, Glee dedicates its romantic focus to its student relationships (or at least its student-teacher relationships…looking at you, Puck and Shelby). But lately, we’ve been given an extra dose of the love exclusive to Ohio’s of-age population. As you’ll recall, Coach Bieste got her heart broken when the football coach of her dreams fell for Sue Sylvester. And now, it looks like things are stepping up for the beloved couple of Will Schuester and Emma Pillsbury—Will is finally going to propose!
As the below video shows, Will is enlisting the help of his Glee club (doesn’t have any adult friends?) to properly pop the question to Emma. And from the looks of it, Emma is very much in the same mindset as Will. Still, apprehensions are high. Both Will and Emma have some experience with “failed” marriages. Is this one going to go the way of Terri/Carl the dentist? Or can true love help to conquer Emma’s anxiety disorder and Will’s hair problems?
Glee returns to Fox on Tuesday, Jan 17. at 8 p.m. ET/PT.
