Wait! Was ‘Girl Meets World’ Canceled?!

In the world of Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life and Fuller House, reboots are reigning strong in Hollywood. One of the favs for the past few years has been Disney Channel’s Girl Meets World, a reboot of the iconic ’90s sitcom Boy Meets World which follows Cory and Topanga’s daughter, Riley (Rowan Blanchard). The series has been going pretty strong, which is why fans were shocked when actor Rider Strong who plays Shawn Hunter in the original series and the reboot appeared on the podcast Literary Disco and said, “We finished the third season of Girl Meets World. My brother and I were directing a lot of episodes and I acted in a couple. And the show ended.”

So does that mean that Girl Meets World is no more?!!! Luckily, the Girl Meets World writers took to Twitter to gave a bit of a sassy response to Strongs claims.

Still, despite their reassurances they weren’t actually able to state whether we will be seeing a season 4 of the series or not.

We’re not sure what the Disney executives are doing in their fancy glass offices, but we need answers! Until then, part two of season three will begin airing on the Disney Channel on Saturday, January 6, 2017.

Will you be devastated if Girl Meets World is canceled? Let us know in the comments below.
