First it was Rihanna who busted into Jimmy Kimmel’s home and woke him up in the middle of the night. It was a brilliant, iconic prank — one that we desperately needed to see happen again. As good a prank as it was, there are few stars who can fill Rihanna’s shoes.
Thankfully, Britney Spears is back with new music, which means she’s back doing the rounds of press her new music deserves, and she’s in the perfect position to pull an epic prank on a poor unsuspecting talk show host. The songstress took a page out of Rihanna’s book in a recent episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live, and broke into Kimmel’s home in the middle of the night to wake him up with a surprise.
When Rihanna originally pulled the prank, she focused on a more rough, girl-in-charge kind of wake up. It was so very Rihanna. She came in wearing an expensive-looking coat and threw piles of money at Kimmel while he slept. Spears took a sexier approach. She was dressed in an ultra-hot outfit and accompanied by scantily clad, muscly men who danced on Kimmel as he was shaken from his slumber. It was so incredibly Britney.
Though RiRi and Brit-Brit pulled the same prank, each style was so uniquely theirs it’s hard to choose whose was more successful. Kimmel was pretty surprised in both and the gals slayed it.
