Despite the fact that streaming services have been around for several years now, some of our favorite TV shows have been neglected when it comes to streaming availability. Sure, shows like Friends and Seinfeld have long since been available to binge on a regular, but other shows like Moesha, Will & Grace, and The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air are still only bingeable by DVD.
However, it looks like the tides are finally turning for one of our favorite sitcoms of all time. The Golden Girls will be available to stream for the first time ever. It looks like Hulu has struck a deal with the owners of the NBC classic comedy and it was announced at Hulu’s TCA panel that the entire series of The Golden Girls will be available to stream on Hulu starting Monday, February 13, 2017.

The hilarious series follows four older women living together in, strong-willed Dorothy, spacey Rose, lusty Southern belle Blanche and matriarch Sophia, Dorothy’s mom, who occasionally clash but are there for one another in the end.
While Netflix has spent a ton of coin cultivating their original programming with shows like The Crown, Luke Cage and Stranger Things, Hulu has focused on getting the rights to beloved vintage shows. All we can say is we are grateful.
