Tampa Movie Theaters: AMC Veterans 24
The AMC Veterans 24 serves up a variety of amenities to its theater-goers. This AMC’s auditoriums are fitted with leather signature recliners. The AMC Veterans 24 shows films in IMAX and RealD 3D. IMAX is an immersive technology that has precise audio and high-quality imaging, giving guests a superior movie-going experience.
The AMC Veterans 24 serves a variety of food options that can be ordered ahead using the AMC Theatres app. They have an enhanced menu with loaded hot dogs and stone-fired flatbread pizzas. Guests can choose a drink from the Coca-Cola Freestyle machine, or order an alcoholic beverage from MacGuffins Bar. This AMC location even has made-to-order drinks such as coffees, smoothies, and floats!

Tampa Movie Theaters: Tampa Theatre
Tampa Theatre is a non-profit movie palace that shows classic and independent films. Built in 1926, Tampa Theatre is almost 100 years old! The venue is adorned with classic decorations and gives the feeling that you’re sitting in a Mediterranean courtyard. When seated, guests can look up to find a ceiling replicating a night sky with twinkling lights. You can take a virtual tour of Tampa Theatre here.
According to its website, Tampa Theatre hosts 600 events each year. In addition to films, guests can attend concerts, special events, and educational programs. Tampa Theatre has multi-floor seating and can host over 1200 guests. The seats have comfortable cushioning and are fitted with cupholders.
While Tampa Theatre is located near a plethora of dining options downtown, it also serves a variety of concessions. In addition to typical movie theater fare, Tampa Theatre offers cookies and brownies from a local bakery, alcoholic beverages, and salami and cheese trays.

Tampa Movie Theaters: CMX CinéBistro Hyde Park
Located in the Hyde Park Village shopping center, CMX CinéBistro offers dinner and a movie to its guests. Movie-goers can arrive 30 minutes before their showtime and enjoy an in-theatre dining experience. CMX CinéBistro Hyde Park serves American cuisine as well as fine wines and cocktails.
Guests catching a movie at CMX CinéBistro Hyde Park can also purchase typical theater snacks like popcorn and candy from the concession counter. Another nice perk is that movie-goers can reserve their cozy leather seats when buying their tickets. CMX CinéBistro Hyde Park’s movies are shown in 4K digital projection with 7.1 surround sound.
Be careful of what time you see a movie here if you’re visiting with children and teens, as CMX CinéBistro Hyde Park is 21 and over after 6 pm.

Tampa Movie Theaters: Funlan Drive-In
Funlan Drive-In is located at the Funlan Swap Shop Flea Market’s Tampa location. Unlike many other drive-ins that are only open on the weekends, Funlan Drive-In shows movies every night of the week. The drive-in has 2 screens with showtimes starting at 8:45 pml. The box office opens at 7:30 pm and tickets are reasonably priced: $7 for adults, $2 for children ages 5-11, and children ages 4 and under can enter for free.
Funlan Drive-In has concessions on site for guests who want to enjoy a snack with their movie. Options include soft drinks, popcorn, and alcoholic beverages, among other movie theater fare. Movie-goers can also bring their own food and drinks! Guests can tune their car radio to the given station to hear the audio of the film they’re watching.

Tampa Movie Theaters: Regal Park Place & RPX
Regal Park Place & RPX is located about 15 miles outside of Tampa in Pinellas Park. This theater features Regal Premium Experience (RPX), which provides guests with “uncompressed surround sound and bright eye-popping images in 2D and RealD 3D.”
The Regal Park Place & RPX shows the latest Hollywood releases, as well as older favorites and documentaries. The theater sells typical concessions such as popcorn, candy, chicken tenders, and soft drinks. Guests can enjoy their movie from their comfortable reclining leather seat.
Reviewers note that the theater is clean and has great service. One reviewer on Google said that the Regal Park Place & RPX is the “Best place to see a movie relax enjoy a day or night with the kids and family.”

Tampa Movie Theaters: Xscape Theatres Riverview 14
Located about 8 miles outside of Tampa, Xscape Theatres Riverview 14 shows films on 70-foot curved screens and has reclining plush chairs, that gives an elevated movie viewing experience to its guests. The theatre shows the latest Hollywood releases, as well as some foreign films.
Xscape Theatres Riverview 14 has its “Xtreme” auditoriums, where movies are shown in 4K dual digital projection. According to the theater’s website, this ensures “an image twice as clear as industry standards.” These auditoriums have a digital sound system and movie-goers can also see select films in 3D.

Tampa Movie Theaters: AMC Riverview 14 GDX
The AMC Riverview 14 GDX is a former GQT movie theater that has been transformed into an AMC theater. The theater is located about 10 miles outside of Tampa in the town of Gibsonton.
The AMC Riverview 14 GDX is fitted with spacious leather recliners that have attached trays where you can put your movie theater snacks. AMC’s Feature Fare menu serves typical movie concessions including popcorn, candy, soft drinks, and pretzel bites. The theater is also equipped with the Features bar, which serves alcoholic beverages that can be enjoyed before or after your movie.
While this theater is no longer a GQT location, it still has GDX which is the chain’s “Giant Digital Experience.” This provides crystal clear imaging and immersive Dolby Atmos sound. One reviewer on Google wrote, “First visit to AMC Riverview 14, very comfortable seating. Good sound system. I enjoyed my viewing of the movie in this theater.”

Tampa Movie Theaters: Premiere Lux Ciné 8
The Premiere Lux Ciné 8 is located about 20 miles outside of Tampa in Plant City. The theater has an attached Pizza Pub in the lobby that serves fresh pizza, wings, and sandwiches! There is also a full-service bar for guests looking to enjoy an alcoholic beverage before or after their movie.
In addition to the pizza pub, the Premiere Lux Ciné 8 has typical movie theater concessions like soft drinks, popcorn, candy, Dippin’ Dots, and ICEEs. Unlike many other theaters, the Premiere Lux Ciné 8 offers unlimited self-serve refills on popcorn and soft drinks!
The Premiere Lux Ciné 8 shows the latest Hollywood releases, with select films screening in 3D. One reviewer on Google wrote that the theater is, “Very clean and the electric reclining seats are awesome. The sound system is amazing.”

Tampa Movie Theaters: Ruskin Family Drive-In Theatre
Ruskin Family Drive-In Theatre has been operating since 1952 when it screened its first movie: Singin’ in the Rain! The drive-in has 1 screen that shows double features. It is open all year round (Wednesday-Sunday) and shows movies rain or shine.
Guests are advised to arrive early on weekends, as the Ruskin Family Drive-In Theatre fills up fast. There’s a snack bar that has hot options like hamburgers, hot dogs, grilled cheese, and chili. They also sell typical movie theater concessions including popcorn, nachos, candy, and ice cream. The snack bar only accepts cash, and you must pay a $5 fee if you choose to bring your own food.
The Ruskin Family Drive-In Theatre even has a play area for younger movie-goers! The box office opens at 7:30 pm on Fridays and Saturdays and at 8 pm every other day. Tickets are $6 for adults, $1 for children ages 5-8, and children 4 and under can enter free.

Tampa Movie Theaters: Regal Citrus Park
Regal Citrus Park is located in Tampa’s Citrus Town Center shopping mall. The theater has comfortable leather reclining seats that make the movie-going experience even more enjoyable! The spacious lobby is eclectic when you walk in, lined with brightly colored neon lights and fun theater decorations.
The Regal Citrus Park has a bar and sells typical movie theater fare at the concession stand. The theater also has a touchscreen kiosk where guests can purchase their tickets themselves rather than wait at the box office.
