Former child star Dylan Sprouse is heading back to TV to join the cast of Mindy Kaling’s upcoming comedy series.
The actor, who is known for starring alongside his twin brother Cole in The Suite Life of Zack & Cody, has landed his first major small-screen gig since 2011 on The Sex Lives of College Girls.
The series revolves around four female roommates at top New England university Essex College as they embark on a new chapter of their lives. Sprouse will play a junior named Nico on the show, which is being developed for U.S. streaming service HBO Max, reports Variety.
His last big TV role as a series regular was on The Suite Life on Deck, a Disney Channel spin-off of The Suite Life of Zack & Cody, which ended in 2011.
Sprouse has since appeared in a few films, including the recent After We Collided and 2018 comedy Banana Split, although he’s also been focused on running his own mead-making factory in Brooklyn, New York.
His brother Cole Sprouse is a star on hit TV drama Riverdale.
