Character Bio: The ever-youthful Depp easily slips into the role of Scottish playwright J.M. Barrie, the literary mastermind behind the classic Peter Pan. A man who hasn’t quite let go of his boyhood, Barrie finds divine inspiration from the Llewelyn Davies family: four fatherless boys and their beautiful, recently widowed mother (Kate Winslet). He befriends the family, engaging the boys in tricks, disguises, games and sheer mischief–and through them, dreams up the wonderful world of Neverland.
