The American Music Awards spread things around Tuesday, with country star Tim McGraw, alternative rockers Green Day, soul stars Destiny's Child and hip-hop chart toppers Black Eyed Peas each winning two awards.

Moviegoers flocked to see some sizzling on-screen chemistry between tabloid-hounded megastars Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, as their dark comedy Mr. & Mrs. Smith--about a married couple who find out they are highly trained assassins--opened on top of the heap this weekend with a whopping $51 million. The CGI-comedy Madagascar held onto second with $17 million, while Star Wars: Episode III-Revenge of the Sith came in third with $14.8 million.

Although The Honeymooners will more than likely produce a few chuckles, especially if you stay through the credits to watch the outtakes, it certainly isn't a tribute to the classic original.

Madagascar delivers the goods. Forget Jeff Corwin. Forget the Crocodile Hunter. Animal Planet needs to develop a show for Alex, the lion, and his four-legged monochromatic friends.

It's hard not to love the performers in Be Cool, and you won't find this much talent for the price of one movie ticket, even if they do get in each other's way. But if you're looking for substance as well as style, you'll have to go to the video store and Get Shorty.

It is a sad when Tommy Lee Jones stars in a movie where the only draw is half-naked cheerleaders and Cedric the Entertainer. It is even sadder when the combination doesn't work.
