Harry Potter creator J.K. Rowling was honoured for her philanthropy by British royal Princess Anne at the University of Edinburgh in Scotland on Monday (26Sep11). The author donated $16 million (£10 million) to the educational facility last year (10) to establish a new multiple sclerosis (MS) research clinic, which is due to open in 2013.
