Less flash, more grit, The Order of the Phoenix is definitely the most introspective of the Harry Potter movies. If you’re expecting fast-paced wizardry action at every turn, however, you might be disappointed.

You know how it begins and you know how it ends, but We Are Marshall will still make a sports fan cheer. Its still the same old triumph against the odds, but it's a solid version of that.

It’s hard to knock something as inspiring as a true story about a local guy, with no football experience, trying out for his home pro team and making the cut. But Invincible does nothing to improve on the already very tired sports underdog theme.

In the age of movies as financial entities, it’s hard to see precisely which “group”--age or otherwise--Monster House appeals to. But one possible explanation is that, aside from the loud-criers “group,” it may just appeal to everyone.

Even though it may lack a human touch here and there, The Polar Express is still a brilliant effort in CGI-animation and will certainly evoke the Christmas spirit in us all.
