Less flash, more grit, The Order of the Phoenix is definitely the most introspective of the Harry Potter movies. If you’re expecting fast-paced wizardry action at every turn, however, you might be disappointed.

Roll Bounce is a breath of fresh air, to be certain. It could've benefited by steering clear of its sappy subplot but will still offer some pleasant nostalgia for adults--and Bow Wow for the kids.

If not for the larger-than-life multitasking by Tyler Perry, Diary of a Mad Black Woman would be just another tedious, over-the-top movie about self-discovery.

Oliver Stone has delivered the quintessential Hollywood version of Alexander. Action, sex, treachery, conspiracy, the film puts the "pick" in "epic."

Gosford Park is entertaining enough, but if you're expecting another Altman masterpiece, you'll be disappointed.
