"Howard's got a wild side. That's for sure. He's taken up a new hobby, photography. I'll be in the bathtub, and there he is, with the camera, and suddenly the pictures are up on Twitter. We have a new policy: He can take all the pictures he likes, but I have to be able to approve the ones that he tweets out." Howard Stern's wife, Beth Ostrosky Stern, isn't impressed with the DJ's latest hobby.

    By: WENN.com Source February 14, 2007 11:10am EST
Radio shock jock Howard Stern made St Valentine's Day extra special for his longtime girlfriend Beth Ostrosky--by proposing to her. The 53-year-old host told listeners of his Sirius Radio show that he had asked the model to marry him. Stern recalled last night's proposal on today's show, explaining he asked the 34-year-old model if she wanted her Valentine's Day gift early and she said yes. He told listeners he ordered her to strip down, and, once naked, he presented her with a 5.2 carat diamond ring saying, "I love you. You're everything to me. This is so gay... I'm asking you to spend the rest of your life with me." Stern insists the engagement is not a joke. Last month, he announced on air that the couple had tied the knot, but later revealed it was a prank. This will be the first marriage for Ostrosky and the second for Stern, who split from wife Alison in 2000. COPYRIGHT 2007 WORLD ENTERTAINMENT NEWS NETWORK LTD. All Global Rights Reserved.
  • Howard Stern Speaks of Spitting Horror
    By: WENN.com Source April 04, 2006 12:01pm EST
New York radio host Howard Stern has spoken of his terrifying confrontation with a homeless man who spat in his girlfriend Beth Ostrosky's face at the weekend. The shock jock, 52, and Ostrosky, 33, were walking in New York City following a meal on Saturday, when Gregory Forbes rushed up to the couple, shouting "Howard", before threatening them. Immediately after jumping into a nearby cab, the 50-year-old crazed fan spat through the window into Ostrosky's face, before the couple managed to speed away. When Ostrosky was safe at home, Stern called police and scouted the streets looking for Forbes, who was promptly arrested and charged with menacing and harassment. Speaking on his Sirius radio show April 3, Stern said, "The restaurant is four to five blocks from where we live, so I wanted to take a walk. What appeared to be this homeless guy approached me... "I said, 'How ya doing?' or something, but then he started getting into my space. I couldn't understand a f**king thing he was saying, because mostly he was incoherent. I mean, I don't know if he's got a weapon or what. "So Beth hailed a cab. This guy comes over to the cab like he's trying to jump through the window. And then, he spat in her face. She's freaking out, of course. "So we dropped her off at home and then I called 911. She wanted me to just stay there with her, but I said no, this guy's dangerous, you can't let this guy stay on the street. "I did what any Good Samaritan would do. After Beth was okay, I felt obligated to find him, because he could do something to someone else." Article Copyright World Entertainment News Network All Rights Reserved.

By: Mike Shaffer March 19, 2001 11:50am EST
The world hangs on Howard Stern’s every word, but even though the shock-jock’s been mute on the matter of the women in his life, Howard’s honey has been revealed. Stern has been reported spending his free time getting close with actress Beth Ostrosky, who had a featured role as a volleyball player in the Ben Stiller flick, "Flirting with Disaster." Stern is trying to duck the media about Ostrosky. "I went out to dinner with a girl, and they (the media) have me married-off already. I think they're disappointed that I wasn't with a stripper. Like I'm not going to know any women," he said. Stern, whose twenty-year marriage just came to a very public end, said "I'm trying to straighten things out with my wife and kids, and this makes everything complicated."

Wall Street stud-boy Brad (Brian Van Holt) wannabe lady-killer Zeke (Zorie Barber) and sensitive wank-addict Jonathan (Jonathan Abrahams) talk big trash about "scamming" female conquests. Then they meet their match when each independently gets involved with fantasy love interest Mia (Amanda Peet) in the span of a single week. Ignoring the wild improbability of this actually happening the fellas blunder into an unwieldy four-way romance that puts severe strains on their friendship -- not to mention the film's believability. Charismatic newcomers Van Holt Barber and Abrahams get into the spirit of the piece gamely soldiering through an uneven stream of bathroom and penis jokes and other indignities in various stages of undress. Judah Domke ("Spanking the Monkey") scores some of the funniest moments as a long-suffering married pal who now gets his jollies following the other guys' bedroom exploits. Toothy rising star Peet (TV's "Jack & Jill") has less success with the blandly written role of Mia providing no clue as to what the boys are so excited about. Writer-director-producer Peter M. Cohen's energetic debut feature builds up a promising head of steam early on only to have things fall apart once the painfully predictable direction of the plot becomes clear. The guys' "Diner"-style yammering (much of it yes in a diner!) is hit-or-miss lacking the wit of "Swingers" or the ribald comic invention of "American Pie." With the exception of some truly inspired bits featuring Domke's character the likable leads have to work for every naughty inch.
