While sporadically hilarious, Without a Paddle is a regurgitation of every fish-out-of-water comedy since 1987. Even still, it would make for a funny and frequent rental, if the audience it was intended for wasn't nearing 40 years old.

Unlike its innovative predecessor, director Victor Salva's Jeepers Creepers 2 falls prey to the slasher syndrome. The mystery of the Creeper has all but vanished here and audiences have nothing to look forward to except what method the Creeper will use to pick off the next underdeveloped character
