Seth Rogen and James Franco come off like a Laurel and Hardy on, well, pot in this frenetic wild ride which mixes violence, drugs and laughs with such abandon you gotta love the audacity of it all.

Making a belated theatrical bow after playing at the 2006 Sundance Film Festival, this laugh-filled feature debut for writer/director Jody Hill is cheerfully vulgar and could be a summer sleeper. Cult possibilities are strong, too.

The promise of another raunchy R-rated comedy from Ben Stiller and the Farrelly brothers is just too good to pass up, right? Hmmm. The Heartbreak Kid may just make you long for their glory days.
