City by the Sea is an uneven picture with peaks of greatness and valleys of melodrama that make the overall viewing experience more like a roller-coaster ride at Coney Island than an eye candy-filled walk down the Long Beach boardwalk in its heydey.

Road to Perdition is certainly a film worth watching, especially for the vibrant performances of Tom Hanks, Paul Newman and Jude Law; the wonderfully rendered visuals; and the challenging moral questions. But it isn't perfectly satisfying, proving even a blazing Tommy gun can miss the bull's-eye.

Rollerball is slightly entertaining, if you don't stop and think about it too much. Otherwise, you'll realize how silly it actually is.

A Walk to Remember is a sweet teen drama with a strong message. It will definitely appeal to younger teens and Mandy Moore fans alike, but skip it if you are old enough to already understand the moral of the story.
