Movie producer Harvey Weinstein has brushed off criticism from Church of Scientology officials about his new film The Master, which is directed by Paul Thomas Anderson. The film's controversial lead character, played by Philip Seymour Hoffman, is loosely based on late author and Scientology founder L. Ron Hubbard.
