The "Chasing Amy" and "Clerks" helmer has released the cast list for his next film, his follow-up to the controversial "Dogma," and nearly all the stars from "Dogma" are on the list, with some in multiple roles.     Singer Alanis Morissette made a sizable contribution to the Broadway production of Jane Eyre, saving the show from closing for one more week. According to People, Morissette, 26, donated $150,000 to the production, which was scheduled to shut down this weekend due to financial difficulties. "She is a good friend of Paul Gordon, the composer, and also a huge fan of the show," said Bob Fennell, a show spokesman.

    Alanis Morissette will begin a 12-country tour of European festivals, arenas and clubs on June 1 in Nuremberg, Germany, Reuters reports. The European tour, running through July 15, will showcase some new material, which may be included on her next release. Morissette also will play two shows in Los Angeles' El Rey Theater on May 25 and 26 and in her hometown of Ottawa, Canada, on July 1.     HOLLYWOOD, Nov. 22, 2000 -- The Queen of Music has spoken and laid to rest the rumors. Madonna confirmed today that she and British filmmaker Guy Ritchie plan to marry next year and settle down in London, where the U.S. pop star recently purchased a home for $10 million, Reuters reports. The couple has a 4-month-old son, Rocco. Madonna was also quoted as saying in Britain's Sun tabloid that the couple are very much in love and that marriage was the next natural step to take in their relationship
