Whether you're of the accident-prone regular folk kind or a famous Hollywood star, no one can escape the inevitable awkward moments that life is sure to send your way. Thankfully for us in the former category, the whole world isn't watching us 24/7 to capture any embarrassing moments on film. The celebrity world isn't so lucky, especially when it comes to wardrobe malfunctions. Countless celebs have been caught displaying their bare essentials on camera for all the world to see. And while some stars (like Madonna) prefer to take the infamous nip slip factor into their own hands, others have had it happen completely without their consent. So in honor of Madonna's voluntary dare-to-bare moment, here's a look back at ten of the most embarrassing wardrobe malfunctions of all time that were purely unintentional. 1. Janet Jackson's Super Bowl Mishap The mother of all celebrity wardrobe malfunctions. Janet Jackson and Justin Timberlake took the stage for the 2004 Super Bowl Halftime Show and ended up exposing quite a bit more than their raw musical talent after Timberlake tore off a piece of Jackson's costume, accidentally exposing her right breast to millions of football fans worldwide. And so, Nipplegate (complete with an FCC meltdown) was born — making it the one year where the commercials were less intriguing than the actual game. 2. Tara Reid Let's Things Slide The American Pie actress took the "messy partygoer" to a whole new level when she fully exposed her breast on the red carpet of P. Diddy's 35th birthday bash in 2004. Uh, Tara....those straps are supposed to go on your shoulders, not elbows. Also, what the heck was going on in 2004?! 3. Nicki Minaj's 'Good Morning' Wake Up Call During a performance of Good Morning America in 2011, Minaj decided to give the crowd quite an eyeful by indecently exposing her left breast for all the world to see. It was (or wasn't, depending upon your view of things) a good morning, after all. 4. Jennifer Lopez's Academy Award Slip Up There's still much debate about whether a nip slip actually occurred or not, but this 2012 Oscar incident received so much attention it'd feel wrong not to include it on the list. I don't care how confident you are or how used to the press you may be — when your breast gets its own Twitter account, you are totally allowed to be embarrassed. And also, somewhat flattered. 5. Geri Halliwell Spices Up Our Lives The former Spice Girls star accidentally showed off her derriere at the British Children's Awards Show when a huge gust of wind blew her way. I think it's safe to say that after this moment, everyone would wannabe this girl's lover. 6. Keira Knightley Gets A Little Too Pride and Prejudice The British actress accidentally showcased more of her assets than she meant to when her left breast decided to make an appearance at the New York premiere of Pride and Prejudice in 2005. 7. Lindsay Lohan Goes Undercover It seems the troubled star can't even make a comeback without having some slip up occur. While filming on the set of Liz & Dick, Lohan suffered at the hands of a nip slip on June 5. And while this incident had to be a somewhat embarrassing moment for the actress, we all know she's certainly experienced worse. 8. Emma Watson Feels Under the Weather Apparently, there are some things that even a magical spell can't help prevent: like the weather, for instance. At the 2009 premiere of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, the actress (who was only 21 at the time), found it difficult to cover up as the strong winds managed to blow her gown wide open, making her flash her undergarments at hundreds of adoring fans. It could have been worse though — she could have been wearing no underwear at all. 9. Lady Gaga Gets On the Edge...of Inappropriate Given this singer's rather eccentric (and equally revealing) wardrobe choices, it's no surprise Gaga's experienced several indecent exposures during her time in the spotlight. Like when she exposed her upper-body bits at the CFDA Fashion Awards in June 2011. This would probably rank a little higher on our list if it hadn't happened so many times before. We can't really fault her for it, though — she was just born this way. 10. Taylor Swift Goes Marilyn The country singer experienced her very own Marilyn Monroe moment during a concert last year when the bottom of her dress flew up, exposing her granny-looking underwear to thousands of screaming fans. But being the true professional that she is, the perpetually giggly Swift managed to laugh it off and carried on with her performance. Bill Murray's Hologram Makes Its Television Debut — VIDEO
June 08, 2012 6:49am ESTBill Murray may have made a guest appearance last night on The Late Show with David Letterman, but it was his hologram that won all the attention. That's right, the actor debuted a hologram of himself that could perform at concerts all over the world while the real Murray stays at home (not a bad deal). Either way, the stunt was pretty cool to witness — but also a little bit creepy. Murray is just the latest (and living) in a series of holograms that have made their debuts throughout 2012, including the likes of Tupac, Marilyn Monroe, Frank Sinatra and Elvis. Lindsay Lohan Actually Pulls Off Liz Taylor — PICS
June 05, 2012 7:09am ESTDeny it all you want, folks, but Lindsay Lohan is transforming into the legendary Elizabeth Taylor whether you want her to or not. We already knew — thanks to an on-film snapshot — that Lohan's resemblance was going to be a little bit better than anyone expected, but now that Lifetime has released the first official movie photo of the actress in her role, the similarities are uncanny. Honestly, it doesn't even really look like Lohan in the photo. Even if you're not a big fan of the actress, you can't deny the incredible transformation. Lindsay Lohan might just end up impressing us with this film after all. Hey, stranger things have happened. Plus, the actress has always been known for her obsession with Hollywood icons (i.e. Marilyn Monroe). Brad Pitt producing Marilyn Monroe biopic
June 05, 2012 5:00am ESTBrad Pitt has stepped in to help director Andrew Dominik get his long-delayed Marilyn Monroe movie off the ground as the project's producer. Naomi Watts was attached to play the iconic bombshell in Dominik's biopic Blonde, which stalled before shooting was scheduled to begin in January 2011. However, Pitt is now set to give new life to the Monroe film by signing up to produce the movie through his Plan B production company, although he has yet to decide whether he will take on a role. He tells 24 Frames, "We're going to get this one done." Pitt previously worked with Dominik on The Assassination of Jesse James and upcoming gangster thriller Killing Them Softly.

Lindsay Lohan Channels Elizabeth Taylor — PIC
June 04, 2012 1:40pm ESTFor months, Lindsay Lohan has been telling the world that she's looking to make a career comeback, and it seems the actress might actually be keeping her word. Filming has already begun for the highly anticipated Lifetime movie, Liz & Dick — which will showcase the life of the late Hollywood icon Elizabeth Taylor — and Lilo is already starting to transform into the part. Wearing a leopard print, one-piece bathing suit, glamorous sunglasses and long dark locks, the 25-year-old star manages to bare a notable resemblance to Ms. Taylor, which is a lot better than some skeptic may have thought she could pull off. The movie also stars True Blood actor Grant Bowler as one of Taylor's husbands, Richard Burton, and will focus on the couple's tumultuous relationship.Of course, maybe the transformation isn't so shocking after all. I mean anyone can understand the many levels of controversy and drama, it would be Lindsay Lohan. Rare pictures surface of Marilyn Monroe's final photoshoot
June 04, 2012 5:00am ESTPhotographer Lawrence Schiller captured the iconic beauty posing naked by a swimming pool at Fox film studios on 23 May, 1962, during a shoot on the set of her film Something's Got To Give. The stunning snaps see Monroe seductively staring in to the camera as her arms cover her bare chest, and later flashing her butt as she pulls on her dressing gown. Schiller has never released the full collection of shots, but now he has finally shown them off for his new book Marilyn & Me. The photographer, 75, says, "The photographs shows the real Marilyn Monroe teasing you, yet there is still a little mystery left. I was so unguarded that she became unguarded with me." However, the film was never finished - the tardy and unreliable actress was fired in June, 1962 and she was tragically found dead in her Los Angeles home in August (62).

Lady Gaga Remembers Marilyn Monroe's 86th Birthday

It's hard to believe it's been nearly 50 years since her tragic death, yet her iconic memory still manages to captivate the world even to this day. In fact, you could even say we as a society are Marilyn-crazed with all the major motion pictures and TV shows created in her honor. Even Hollywood stars can't get enough of this glamorous gal. Early this morning, Lady Gaga took to Twitter and wished the late actress a happy birthday by styling herself up with Monroe's signature big blonde curls and posting the image for all to see. "#HappyBirthdayMarilyn They'll never take our blonde hair and lipstick," Gaga tweeted along with the black and white pic. And while imitation is certainly the highest form of flattery, Gaga is by far not the first celeb to don Monroe's iconic '50s look. Everyone from Michelle Williams to Jennifer Lopez have replicated her in pictures, magazine covers, TV shows, and films. Marilyn may be physically gone, but these stars have proven that her memory will live on forever. Marilyn Monroe set for hologram return - report
May 31, 2012 1:15pm ESTFollowing in the eerie footsteps of late rapper Tupac Shakur, who 'appeared' onstage with Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre at the Coachella festival in California in April (12), Monroe is set for a return to the stage. Sources tell The Hollywood Reporter that the actress will appear during a planned Virtual Marilyn Live - A Musical Celebration of the Birth of the Pop Icon concert. A date and venue has yet to be secured, but bosses at Digicon Media - the company behind the ambitious show - are hoping to unveil the project before the end of 2012.

Lohan’s new gig as the venerable Elizabeth Taylor for the biopic Liz & Dick has people wide-eyed and curious as to how she will handle the role. The answer? With terrible hair! Lohan recently changed her Twitter profile picture to an image of herself in a wig that allegedly makes her look perfect to play the part of Dame Elizabeth. Let’s take a look, shall we? Hear that? That was the sound of a collective Honey Boo Boo Child moment across all of the Internet. Upon hearing that very-much-unattractive Grant Bowler fellow was cast as her leading man, Richard Burton, Lindsay got down to work. ‘Time to make the transformation complete!’ She thought to herself while she climbed up the stairs of her Hollywood mansion. Past the photos of her ginger heyday, the bronze statue of her mother Orangina Dina Lohan—straight through to the bathroom with a box of Power Brunette hair dye in her hands. ‘Scrub, scrub scrub!’ she sang as she threw the wig into the bathtub and began applying the dye. ‘Only 25 minutes until I am a serious actress again, at last!’ Lindsay could hardly stand the wait until the dye was finished, so she applied her purple contacts to complete the look, staring at herself in the mirror—trying to find the perfect amount of pouting mystery and tortured soul within her eyes. ‘I don’t know why I ever thought I was a Marilyn when I am so clearly destined to be a Liz Taylor!’ she smiled to herself as she said it, snapping a picture in the mirror to remember the genuine emotion she felt for the first time in ages. The wig was taking forever! Impatient as she was, she grabbed the wig and rushed out the door, brown dye trailing behind her as she got into her car and raced over to Grant Bowler’s house. Lindsay held the wig out the window as she tore through the hills. Arriving at Grant’s house she ran up to the door, tossing the wig atop her head, and smiled—a real, true smile, or what she believed them to be. It had been so long. Monroe met Kennedy for emotional hotel summit, according to explosive new book
May 18, 2012 2:15pm ESTThe tragic actress had threatened to go public with her affairs with John F. Kennedy and his brother Bobby, who was America's Attorney General at the time, if her lover didn't divorce his wife and marry her - and Jackie stepped in to make a personal plea to Monroe during a tense meeting at New York's Carlyle Hotel, according to biographer Darwin Porter's new book Marilyn: Rainbow's End. In an extract, published in America's Globe magazine, the author writes, "Jackie begged Marilyn not to publicly humiliate her children in front of the world. She also pleaded with Marilyn not to make John, Jr. and Caroline the victims of a divorce." Porter claims Monroe was touched by her heart-to-heart with Jackie and agreed to keep her romances with the President and his brother a secret, but the biographer alleges the actress had one more big surprise for Kennedy on the day before her death in August, 1962 - she called to tell the President she had aborted his baby. Hours later, Monroe was found dead in her Los Angeles home. Her passing was ruled a suicide, but Porter has unearthed evidence that suggests the star was murdered by Chicago Mob boss Sam Giancana for refusing to help Mafia bosses poison Cuban leader Fidel Castro, who the author claims idolised the actress. In Rainbow's End, the biographer also claims Monroe had lesbian trysts with Joan Crawford, Marlene Dietrich and Elizabeth Taylor, who she allegedly bedded after a Frank Sinatra party in 1961. Porter also suggests Monroe turned down a marriage offer from her one-time husband Joe DiMaggio's son, romanced Elvis Presley and Sinatra and was the star of a collection of sex tapes secretly filmed by Mafia bosses to ruin her.
