Little Gilbert Returns: Your favorite Vampire Diaries heartthrob is rising from the dead — sort of. The dearly departed Jeremy Gilbert, a.k.a. Steven R. McQueen, is returning to Mystic Falls at least one more time before the end of Season 4. But here's the twist: he might not return as Jeremy. There's a chance our beloved Jer could appear as one of the many human forms of immortal terror Silas — or he could come back from the other side if Bonnie ends up lifting the veil separating the supernatural afterlife from mortals. True Blood Gets Camp-y: Everyone's favorite chipper blonde, Anna Camp, will reprise her role as anti-vampire crusader Sarah Newlin on the upcoming sixth season of True Blood. She'll stick around for a few episodes, no doubt to confront her now-vampire ex-husband Steve (Michaeil McMillian) and possibly her mortal ex-lover Jason Stackhouse (Ryan Kwanten). [TVLine]
'90s Nostalgia: ABC Family's '90s-tastic sitcom Melissa & Joey is getting even more nostalgic with the addition of American Pie's Shannon Elizabeth and The Practice's (and Full House's) Marla Sokoloff. Elizabeth stops by in the eighth episode of the upcoming third season as Mel's old college roommate, while Sokoloff will appear in episode seven as a chiropractor who hits on Joe. The Doctor is In: Hart of Dixie's town doctor Tim Matheson has signed on to play a suspected killer — also a doctor — on the Season 13 finale of CSI, and will return to the show in the Season 14 premiere. His Mr. Tate is a "handsome, sophisticated and highly intelligent Ph.D. and M.D." whom the CSI team suspects in a series of Dante's Inferno-themed murders. Matheson co-stars on The CW's Hart of Dixie as a small-town doctor. [TVLine]

The former The Practice star reveals her little girl, Elliotte Anne, was diagnosed with congenital cystic adenomatoid malformation upon her birth in February (12), and she was required to have an operation to fix the potentially life-threatening condition within the first six months of her life.
The tot was admitted to Los Angeles Cedars-Sinai Medical Centre on 11 July (12) and sailed through the surgery, and she was discharged within a few days.
However, her road to recovery hit a bump on 23 July (12) when she experienced breathing issues and was taken back to hospital. Elliotte was found to be suffering from a minor virus and she was kept under observation for 48 hours before returning home.
Sokoloff, who is married to composer Alec Puro, reveals the medical emergencies didn't faze her daughter and she is astounded by her strength.
In her baby blog for People.com, she writes, "Babies truly are resilient. If you saw Elliotte just days after her operation, you would have been amazed. It was absolutely remarkable. I swear it was way harder for my husband and me to recover from the whole experience!"
Little Elliotte is now fighting fit and Sokoloff insists the health crisis has brought her family closer together: "This has far and away been the hardest thing I have ever gone through and to be completely honest - I'm still recovering. It has changed every part of my being and I'm not sure I will ever be the same again.
"I will forever look at my daughter and my husband differently. We went through the trenches together and our little family unit is now stronger than ever. I feel as if we can get through anything as long as we have each other."

The former The Practice star became a first-time mum after giving birth to Elliotte Anne Puro last month (08Feb12) but her transition into motherhood hasn't been an easy one.
In a blog for People.com, Sokoloff admits she is still "slowly adjusting to exhaustion", and reveals her efforts to breastfeed her baby have left her in tears.
She writes, "We are now five weeks into Elliotte's life and (breastfeeding is) something that I'm still really struggling with.
"My milk production came in quite low and after weeks of trying to find our groove, most feedings end with both of us in tears. I've been taking milk-producing herbs, drinking special tea and saying lots of prayers to will this to happen, but each day I simply do the best I can... I had no idea that something as simple as feeding my daughter would cause both of us so much stress and heartache."
Sokoloff has met with a lactation consultant for advice, and hopes she will be able to conquer her feeding problems.
She adds, "I know that since we made it to one month we can make it to three months and then to six... and so on!"

The actress and her musician husband Alec Puro are set to become parents to a baby girl in the coming weeks, but Sokoloff is ready for her new arrival - and she's eating caioti salads, which are rumoured to bring on labour.
In a series of posts on her Twitter.com page, she writes, "Ok labor inducing salad... let's do this thing. She seems to like it in there. Saying a little prayer with each bite. Legend has it - the salad dressing is the key. So far I got nothing but I shall let you know."

The actress, who is married to musician Alec Puro, admits the first four months of her pregnancy went smoothly, but she was "completely crushed" when the results of her second trimester blood tests came back abnormal.
In a blog for People.com, she writes, "My husband and I sat in the genetic counsellor's office discussing our 'options'; if the test was in fact positive for a serious birth defect. They were throwing out everything from spina bifida to Down syndrome.
"I was completely crushed. I was already so attached to my little girl. She has a name. I talk to her, I sing her songs... she has to be OK."
Sokoloff underwent more tests to check for an infection or defect and admits she suffered 10 "agonising days" waiting for a diagnosis.
She recalls, "I started to feel like I had been punched in the gut. My positive attitude that I tried so desperately to hold on to went flying out the window and was replaced with complete and utter fear.
"The next few days were spent on the couch covered in tears. I literally couldn’t function...
"After 10 agonising days, our amnio results came back showing a perfectly healthy little girl. The abnormal blood work was, in fact, a false positive. I... then returned to my oh-so-familiar state of hysterical crying. Only this time, they were happy tears."
Sokoloff and Puro are expecting their first child this winter (11).

The former star of legal drama The Practice announced last month (Aug11) she is expecting her first child with her musician husband Alec Puro, and now the actress has revealed the gender of the tot, who is due to be born next year (12).
In a pregnancy blog for People.com she writes, "I'm currently 21 weeks along and we recently found out that we are having a... GIRL! In all honesty, I had no preference in regards to gender; I just wanted the little peanut to be healthy. (Truly - I'm not just being politically correct here.) But I must admit, when I heard that we were having a girl - my heart skipped a beat...
"Images of bubblegum pink and sweet little dresses filled my brain and I could hardly stand my excitement! (Side note: If you ask my husband, she will be a tomboy, so we are clearly on different pages as far as her style goes.)"
