Dame Helen Mirren is hoping for success at this weekend's (09-10Feb13) British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) Film Awards to "draw attention" to her "low-budget" new movie Hitchcock.
"It was incredible, absolutely real and I would completely forget it was Tony in there. At the end of the day when he took off his face and there would be Anthony Hopkins, I was like, 'What the hell are you doing here? You're in this movie? Really?' Tony became a stranger to me and I really only knew him as Hitch." Dame Helen Mirren was impressed with Sir Anthony Hopkins' transformation into Alfred Hitchcock for their new movie Hitchcock.
Midnight Express director Sir Alan Parker will be honoured with the prestigious British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) Academy Fellowship at the annual prizegiving next month (Feb13).
