  • Walters to get bumped in July
By: Lew Irwin May 31, 2001 7:54am EST
ABC is planning to bump 20/20 with Barbara Walters from Fridays to Wednesdays beginning July 25, rather than in September as previously indicated, the New York Daily News reported Wednesday. Curiously, it will be replaced for several weeks by the ABC magazine spin-off 20/20 Downtown, according to the newspaper.

HOLLYWOOD, Jan. 11, 2001 -- You won't be hearing the name Steven Soderbergh at this year's Independent Spirit Awards. "Chuck & Buck" -- the second full-length feature from Arteta -- was nominated for best feature under $500,000, screenplay, director, s

LOS ANGELES, April 14, 2000 - Who are Gary Walkow, Seth Zvi Rosenfeld, and Adrienne Shelly? They are among some of the unknown to little-known to cult-known filmmakers hoping to get noticed, publicize their low-budget films, and in some cases, find distributors, at the 6th Annual Los Angeles Independent Film Festival, which kicked off Thursday night at a low-watt event here at the Director's Guild of America.
