Gabriel Aubry is reunited with his daughter after fight
December 01, 2012 4:15am ESTAubry and Martinez clashed outside Berry's Los Angeles home and the Monster's Ball star obtained a temporary restraining order to keep her former partner away from her and their four-year-old child, Nahla. The protective order expired on Thursday (29Nov12) and Aubry's own restraining order against Martinez was also lifted this week (ends02Dec12), while Berry's lawyer revealed "an amicable agreement" had been reached between the two sides. Tensions have now simmered down enough for Aubry to see his little girl. He was pictured walking in Los Angeles with Nahla on Friday (30Nov12). The bad blood between the trio reportedly stems from a bitter custody dispute over Nahla - Berry wants to emigrate to France with Martinez and take her daughter with her, while Aubry is resisting the move.

Halle Berry and Gabriel Aubry Reach an 'Amicable Agreement'
November 30, 2012 6:13am ESTAfter the world’s worst Thanksgiving, when Gabriel Aubrey was arrested after a brutal fight with Halle Berry’s fiancé Olivier Martinez over the custody of 4-year-old daughter Nahla, the two parties have reached a truce. Berry’s attorney Blair Berk and Aubry’s attorney Shawn Holley released a statement after Thursday's hearing that said, “The parties have reached an amicable agreement. There will be no further statements regarding this matter.” Berry and Aubry have been fighting a brutal custody battle since their split in 2010. Though Aubry had a victory in early November when a judge denied Berry's request to move overseas with Nahla, Berry won a protective order after the Thanksgiving brawl, requiring her ex to stay 100 yards away from Berry, Martinez, and Nahla. Aubry was arrested after the fight, which left him looking quite worse for the wear, and was granted a temporary restraining order against Martinez. Halle Berry and Gabriel Aubry reach an accord over Olivier Martinez brawl
November 30, 2012 4:00am ESTThe former model and Berry's current fiance Olivier Martinez fought over a long-standing custody war for the ex-couple's daughter Nahla and both me were hospitalised with injuries. The Oscar winner was granted a temporary restraining order against Aubry late last week and the Canadian won a similar ruling against Martinez on Monday (26Nov12). Aubry failed to get the order lifted on Tuesday (27Nov12), but it now appears the former couple has agreed to a truce. A week after the brawl, Berry's lawyer Blair Berk told reporters in a hallway outside court in Los Angeles that the two parties had reached "an amicable agreement". She added, "There will be no further statements regarding this matter." Both parties had worked to come to an accord and presented their terms to the judge earlier in the day. Berry and Martinez did not make an appearance but Aubry was present, according to TMZ.com. Berry has been eyeing a move to France with her little girl and her actor fiance in a bid to escape the intrusive paparazzi, but her plans suffered a setback in early November (12), when she failed to win primary custody of Nahla during a tense court showdown with her ex. The judge's decision hampered the actress' plans to relocate.

According to TMZ.com, the Oscar winner gave broker Billy Rose the go-ahead a few weeks ago to contact potential buyers about possibly purchasing the five-bedroom Tuscan-style home, which also boasts a guest house, pool and spa. She reportedly rejected an $11 million (£6.88 million) offer last week (ends23Nov12), just before the holiday clash, and is hoping to sell up for the listed price of $15 million (£9.38 million). Berry has been eyeing a move to France with her little girl and her actor fiance in a bid to escape the intrusive paparazzi, but her plans suffered a setback in early November (12), when she failed to win primary custody of Nahla during a tense court showdown with her ex. Top psychologist urges Halle Berry to seek out therapist for daughter
November 29, 2012 4:00am ESTGabriel Aubry and Olivier Martinez found themselves brawling outside Berry's Hollywood home during a confrontation over ongoing custody issues, which the French actor claimed had cost him and his girlfriend $3 million (£1.9 million) in court and legal costs. Both men were hospitalised after the violent altercation. Berry's aides insist Nahla didn't witness the fight and has little knowledge of the legal war related to the actress' plans to relocate to her fiance's native France with her daughter. However, revered child and family psychotherapist, Dr. Fran Walfish - the author of The Self-Aware Parent, tells WENN, "The drama will have raised her anxiety. No doubt about that. Add to that, the police came in uniform with guns in holsters and made an arrest. This is a very scary and traumatic event for a young four-year-old child. Anxiety is a psychological term for fear. "It is quite possible that the adults were screaming, angry and frightened, as well. Kids have laser-sharp radar into their parents' emotional states. The entire scene may have been fuelled for this child by the cues she picked up from her mom and dad. "Nahla would benefit greatly from child therapy... Most parents forget that when a child's life becomes chaotic and filled with conflict the child feels angry...When a young child witnesses raw aggression, they have only two ways to go - they either become depressed or they identify with the aggressor and become a bully with acting-out behaviours. "A sensitive well-trained therapist can help Nahla deal with these powerful emotions in a safe place outside of her family while developing a stable longterm relationship based on trust."

Hawkins tells Celebuzz.com, "I hope that things get better... They have got to get better... This cannot go on. Things have got to calm down." Both Aubry and Berry were granted restraining orders after the fist fight last week, which landed the model and French actor Martinez in hospital. Aubry was granted a request to keep Martinez away from him and Berry won a temporary order against her ex. The Canadian cannot visit his ex or their daughter until the order is lifted. It is set to be reviewed in court on Thursday (29Nov12).

'The Voice' Recap: The Cee-Bow Connection
November 28, 2012 6:02am ESTLast night’s results show began — as they all do — with reheated footage from the previous episode. It’s occurred to me that there’s no reason to think the artfully vague comments spliced in from each coach were actually filmed in the last twenty-four hours. For example, that clip of Blake Shelton announcing his team “absolutely, 200 percent dominated” could have just as easily been taped years ago. Carson Daly announces that recordings of Terry McDermott and Melanie Martinez’s most recent performances have topped the iTunes Rock and Alternative charts, respectively, while Cassadee Pope earned the most downloads of any contestant this week. We’ve entered that bittersweet stage of the season when no one sucks anymore. No matter what happens, two fabulously gifted singers are leaving tonight — unless Dez Duron is sent home, in which case, high fives all around. Admittedly, a large part of why I hope to see Dez (the last member of Team Xtina) eliminated is because I’d love to witness Christina in pissy senior spring mode. For the first performance of the night, Team Adam’s Amanda Brown and Team Cee Lo’s Trevin Hunte reunite for Lady Gaga’s “Marry the Night. The fun they’re obviously having is infectious, but this cover is only a faint glimmer of the glory the pair achieved with their “Vision of Love” in the Battle Rounds. In fact, the highlight of this performance is the distractingly bizarre costumes of the background dancers, one of whom wears — I actually paused for this — camouflage tights, red checkered sneakers, a Mardi Gras-bead wallet chain, and a Foot Locker uniform emblazoned with a pink map of Africa. And again, that was only one of them. Carson announces the first artist saved by America’s votes: surprise, surprise (sarcasm, sarcasm), it’s Cassadee Pope. In a pre-taped sequence, Cee Lo recruits his full teams from seasons past and present — I see you, Mackenzie Bourg; what up, boo? — to perform at a Christmas show in Las Vegas… along with the Muppets. It is amazingly weird, and weirdly amazing. (P.S. Remember that time I said Nicholas David looks like Dr. Teeth?! Glad to see you’ve been keeping up with my recaps, NBC.) The Muppets then invade the Voice soundstage as Kermit joins Cee Lo for a rendition of “It’s Not Easy Being Green” — Cee Lo’s last name, as well as the color that frogs are! (!!!). Cee Lo is dressed in a green ensemble that Aretha Franklin might wear to a Royal Wedding in space. The whole production is as sweet as it is surreal. And now it’s time for Voice confessional round three: pre-show rituals. Trevin caresses his stomach. Dez runs in place. Cassadee burps herself, “but from the front.” Blake watches The Golden Girls (he’s such a Rose, am I right?). Nicholas grooms his facial hair. Melanie restaples her bow to her skull. The next artist to advance to the top six is — hooray! — Amanda Brown. In a performance Carson somehow sees fit to declare “memorable” before it even begins, Terry, Nicholas, Melanie, and Cody Belew collaborate on the Plain White T’s “Rhythm of Love.” It’s lovely. There’s a hint more of Terry’s Scottish accent than usual (yes, please!), and the simple staging — the four sit in a close circle — perfectly suits the song. Carson invites the top eight to guest star on his early-morning radio show, which to my great disappointment turns out to be a real thing and not a network of tin cans in his basement. The third member of the top six is… Melanie Martinez! After the break, Cassadee and Dez perform “Hate That I Love You.” Their harmonies are surprisingly good, but the duet fails to match the evening’s other performances in either quality or weirdness. The next artist chosen is — double hooray! — Nicholas David. In my mind, Nicholas can do no wrong, even though I hadn’t bargained on the semi-phallic, vertical man-bun he’d be wearing tonight. Yikes, we’re down to four, but only two of Terry, Dez, Trevin, and Cody will survive. To my great delight, Terry McDermott — whom I love, but had all but written off — becomes the fifth contestant to make the top six. The last singer saved is (I am borderline panic attack right now) Trevin Hunte! He immediately starts crying, which immediately makes me cry, which immediately freaks out my dog. I’m sorry to see Cody go, but not nearly as sorry as I would be to see Dez stay. Besides, I have all the confidence in the world that this won’t be our last chance to experience the Belew bam bam. Gabriel Aubry and Olivier Martinez's fight missed by security cameras
November 28, 2012 4:00am ESTThe two men were hospitalised after the vicious fight, which is said to have been sparked by Aubry's bitter custody battle with Berry over their daughter Nahla. Aubry has since placed the blame on Martinez, but a new report suggests there is no video footage to determine who was actually responsible for starting the showdown. Law enforcement sources tell TMZ.com detectives have reviewed the available footage and confirmed the bust-up occurred outside of the cameras' field of vision, dismissing Aubry's claims that the tape could have been erased. Berry was reportedly advised by police to turn her security cameras towards the fences surrounding her property in order to capture a possible intruder after problems with a stalker last year (11).

But, in papers obtained by U.S. news show Extra, the Canadian hunk, who is the father of Berry's daughter Nahla, appears to have let slip a family secret. He refers to Martinez as "the fiance of my ex-wife, Halle Berry." In the legal documents, Aubry goes on to insist that Martinez started the headline-grabbing fight, telling the model he had cost him and Berry $3 million (£1.9 million) in the custody battle over Nahla. Earlier this month (Nov12), Berry failed to win primary custody of Nahla, which would have allowed her to take her daughter to France - where she was hoping to start a new life with her fiance. It is not clear if Berry and Aubry were officially married. Meanwhile, Aubry has lost his bid to have an emergency restraining order Berry filed against him following the Thanksgiving Day bust-up removed. The model was in court on Tuesday (27Nov12), asking a judge to lift the ruling, which is in effect until 29 November (12). The judge refused and that means the Canadian cannot visit his ex or their daughter until at least the end of the week.
