Paris Hilton wants to settle down and start a family with model beau
May 03, 2013 5:57pm ESTParis Hilton has wedding bells ringing in her ears again after declaring she wants to settle down with her model beau River Viiperi and have kids. The 32-year-old former party girl insists her priorities have changed and now she wants to map out a life with her toy boy lover, who is 11 years younger than her. In a TV interview for America's The Wendy Williams Show in New York, Hilton says, "I think that's every woman's dream. I think that's the meaning of life to have children and have a family one day." And confessing she is "madly in love" with her model man, the reality TV star adds, "I feel so lucky to have met him. He's one of the kindest, most loyal men I've ever met in my entire life, and he treats me like a princess. "He's the most beautiful man I've ever seen in my life." But Viiperi needn't get his hopes too high - Hilton also cooed about former lovers Doug Reinhardt, Benji Madden and shipping heir Paris Latsis, who was briefly engaged to the socialite.

Another The Hills star in love - Jason Wahler to wed
January 07, 2013 12:15pm ESTReality TV star-turned-fashionista and writer Lauren Conrad's ex-boyfriend Jason Wahler is engaged. The former The Hills hunk proposed to model Ashley Slack in November (12), according to Us Weekly, and the couple is planning to wed in October (13). Slack went public with the news on Facebook.com by posting a photo of her engagement ring and the message, "I said yes! I am the happiest girl in the whole wide world and I cannot wait to spend the rest of my life with my best friend." Wahler also shared a photo of his fiancee's ring on Instagram, adding, "Love you babe." The reality TV bad boy has previously revealed that his relationship with Slack is the first he's "ever been in sober", adding, "It's a little bit different when you're not drinking and going out." Wahler cleaned up his act on VH1's Celebrity Rehab in 2010 after six alcohol-related arrests. It's the second piece of wedding news from former stars of The Hills so far this year (13) - another Conrad ex, Doug Reinhardt, became engaged to his high school sweetheart Allie Lutz over the holiday season and announced the news on Sunday (06Jan13). January 07, 2013 9:15am ESTParis Hilton's ex-boyfriend Doug Reinhardt is engaged to wed his high school sweetheart. The former The Hills star proposed to Allie Lutz over the holiday season and she announced the happy news to fans via her Instagram.com blog on Sunday (06Jan13). Lutz showed off her large sparkler in a cute image of the couple, alongside the caption, "Cat's out of the bag". The pair is currently on vacation in Anguilla. Reinhardt split from hotel heiress Hilton in 2010 after dating her on and off for less than a year. He also previously dated his The Hills co-star Lauren Conrad and briefly romanced former Miss USA Rima Fakih.

Michael Phelps snags golden girl
August 06, 2012 1:15pm ESTAccording to HollyScoop.com the U.S. swimming hero is dating aspiring model Megan Rossee, 25, who has been spotted out and about with her water baby in London. Phelps and Rossee began dating at the beginning of 2012, according to reports, and the romance "started to heat up" just before the swimmer jetted off to the Olympics last month (Jul12). A source tells the website, "At the time when they began dating, Doug Reinhardt was crushing on her too, but she chose to be with Michael instead. "Michael knew that he had to leave for the Olympics and, not wanting to give up on their relationship, he flew Megan out to the trials in Omaha and then to London for the Games." And now Phelps' final Olympics competitions are over, he is planning to take some time off and spend it with Rossee. The source adds, "They'll remain in London for three weeks after the Olympics wrap up this weekend to check out the sights and do some travelling together." Rossee is a former soccer player, who is currently a cocktail waitress at Blok nightclub in Hollywood. According to her modelling profile, the aspiring catwalk star is a natural blonde with blue-green eyes. In the profile, she writes, "I am super easy going and pretty much down for any type of project (that doesn't involve nudity). I love what I do."

Hugo Review
November 23, 2011 7:09am ESTOn the surface Hugo looks like your run-of-the-mill Harry Potter knock-off full of whimsy spectacle life lessons and faux-imagination. But the young adult fiction adaptation is anything but factory-processed. Filled with more passion emotion and drama than most "Oscar contenders" of 2011 Hugo transcends its fantastical predecessors. Some call Hugo director Martin Scorsese's foray into kids movies but the film speaks to "kids" young and old. Every scene every moment every frame gushes with creativity and artistry and it's one of the best movies of the year. Hugo doesn't sugarcoat the plights faced by the film's titular hero. When we pick up with Hugo Cabret (Asa Butterfield) the savvy lad is living in the walls of a 1930's Parisian train station taking over the clock winding duties of his missing uncle (a drunk who took him in after his clockmaker father's unfortunate demise). Aside from his day to day duties Hugo faces greater challenges: evading capture from the station's resident orphan wrangler (Sacha Baron Cohen) and swiping parts from a toy store owner (Ben Kingsley) to rebuild his father's automaton a early 20th century robot designed for entertainment. Hugo's thievery is eventually discovered by the weary toyman who takes the child under his wing to make use of his tinkering skills. The professional relationship introduces Hugo to the toyman's goddaughter Isabelle (Chloe Moretz) who helps Hugo unravel the greater mystery behind his father's robot and "Papa Georges " as well as better understand himself. As Hugo and Isabelle dig deeper into Papa Georges' history they unearth a history that's simultaneously magical and true—they aren't going to a far away land through an otherworldly portal but instead examining an aspect of history cinematic history in fact that feels foreign to them (and the audience). With a their innocent perspective the young duo marvel at stories of the early days of film and glimpses of long lost silents. This is Scorsese's playground. His love for the early days of film is infused into the design and story of Hugo giving the movie a timeless feel that sweeps the viewer up. But Hugo isn't just a souped-up Film 101 course. The historical revelations are only part of Hugo's emotional journey which is equally enhanced by stunning 3D detailed production design and a supporting cast woven into the film's fabric to further expand the world. Cohen's Station Inspector is like a Buster Keaton character complete with pratfalls and heart. Michael Stuhlbarg (A Serious Man Boardwalk Empire appears as Scorsese's proxy relishing the world of film while caring for Hugo and Isabelle. Even Christopher Lee's (Lord of the Rings) brief turn as a book store owner succeeds in evoking a smile. All the parts come together under the intricate train station set a beautifully realized period piece brought to life by Scorsese's dimensional 3D. Never before has a stereoscopic film worked so hard to bring you into the picture or enhance the storytelling (on sequence shows a cowering crowd experiencing film for the first time a train hurtling towards camera—an effect paralleled in today's 3D effects!). If the story doesn't suck you in the artistry on display in Hugo surely will. We praised the film in an unfinished form when we caught it at New York Film Festival and the finalized version packs an even greater punch. Hugo is the perfect film to hypnotize young people with the magic of film or to revisit the heart-pounding experience of a person's first time at a movie theater. This isn't nostalgic baiting but rather expert filmmaking.

Hilton upset she's not married with kids at 30

But after dumping club boss Cy Waits earlier this year (11) after an 18-month romance, Hilton admits she's troubled to find herself alone at 30. In a new interview with Life & Style magazine, she says, "When I was a little girl, I always imagined I'd be married with kids by now. It's not where I thought I'd be. I'm 30, and I'm by myself." And she admits that she realised Waits wasn't "the one" while watching the first episodes of her new reality TV series The World According to Paris: "By watching the show, I got an outside perspective of our relationship." She reveals she saw another side to her then-boyfriend in scenes in which she'd thought Waits might propose, and how he dealt with a pregnancy scare. She adds, "I realised that yes, I love him and he's one of my best friends, but I needed to make sure he was the one. When I realised I wasn't certain, I knew I had to end it." Hilton is now more determined than ever to find new love amid reports she has moved on from Waits with moviemaker Todd Phillips: "I want to be married and pregnant in two to five years, but first I have to work through my trust issues."

Reinhardt fires off cease and desist letter over sex tape hoax
December 24, 2010 4:00am ESTRumours surfaced online earlier this week (begs20Dec10) suggesting Hilton had become the star of a second steamy home video while she was dating Reinhardt. The socialite previously starred in 2004's racy 1 Night In Paris, which was shot by another ex, film producer Rick Salomon. Reinhardt's representative was quick to dismiss reports he was shopping around a tape, insisting "it doesn't exist and never existed." And now the former The Hills star's lawyers have fired off a cease and desist to gossip website ZackTaylor.ca, warning the blogger to remove his claims or face a lawsuit. In the missive, the lawyers state the reports are "false in every respect and... defamatory to Mr. Reinhardt."

Hilton's ex-boyfriend 'surprised' by drugs charge
September 02, 2010 5:00am ESTHilton and her current boyfriend Cy Waits were driving through Las Vegas on Friday night (27Aug10) when their car was pulled over by police, who searched the vehicle after allegedly smelling marijuana. After arresting Waits on suspicion of DUI, Hilton was subsequently detained for alleged cocaine possession after a bag of white powder fell out of her purse. And even though the incident is Hilton's third brush with the law this year (10), the star's former lover Reinhardt insists he is shocked and has spoken out in support of the heiress. He says, "It's very surprising. Let justice prevail how it's going to prevail. I wish her nothing but the best and I hope everything works out for her." In July (10), the star was questioned by cops in South Africa after her pal was suspected of smoking marijuana during the soccer World Cup festivities. She was also stopped by officials at an airport on the French island of Corsica later that month after they reportedly found less than a gram of the drug in her luggage. Hilton was charged with felony possession of a controlled substance on Tuesday (31Aug10) and faces up to four years in prison. She will be arraigned in Las Vegas on 27 October (10).
